Souq 7

Souq 7 is a retail-focused urban regeneration project aimed at redeveloping an 80-hectare district in southern Jeddah. The district is currently known locally by various names, including the Bin Laden Souk, Souk Amir Mitaeb, and Kilo 7. The district was home to a general merchandise market and auto-repair showrooms. Souq 7 aims to celebrate the best of Saudi bazaars and souks, leveraging the heritage, culture, and traditions of these locations to create an alternative ‘new economy’ environment. Here, the customer can experience everything the modern world has to offer to residents and tourists alike, in an organised, compelling, and innovative presentation that showcases the Saudi renaissance.
