Matthew Stych

Matthew has spent over 12 years researching and analysing retailer performance as well as macroeconomic, retail, and consumer trends in both developed and emerging markets.

As a Market Research Manager at McARTHUR + COMPANY, Matthew is responsible for producing the company’s in-depth Market Assessment Studies, managing each Development Advisory project’s research programme to determine relevant macroeconomic performance indicators, trade area retail supply and consumer demand.

Before joining McARTHUR + COMPANY, he worked at Planet Retail in London and Hong Kong, and was previously Head of Retail Research at Euromonitor International.

As well as producing retail industry reports and articles in both print and broadcast media, he has spoken at several trade events, including the National Retail Federation’s BIG Show and Reuters Consumer and Retail Summit.
